Guitar and ana

Guitar Shorty & Ana Popovic -- Wednesday, June 1st @ 8:00 PM

In New Orleans, Shorty fronted his own group that became the house band at the legendary Dew Drop Inn. There he played with greats such as T Bone Walker, Big Joe Turner and Little Richard. It took a job with Sam Cooke to get 19 year old Shorty on the bus and on his way to the West Coast.

Ana's career has been meteoric, and shows no signs of slowing down! The most impressive aspect of Ana's music is her diversity of techniques and styles. Her blend of smoking electric funk slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals, tight blues groove, soulful feminine vocals and her incredible stage presence makes her an irresistible force in the music world.

Teacher's Comedy Special - Featuring: Vinnie Nardiello, Jay Black, and Dan Crohn! - Thursday, July 14th @ 8:00 PM

Vinnie Nardiello has written screenplays, stage shows, sketch comedy for stage and screen, commercials and radio programs. For the past seven years Vinnie has been making his mark in the world of stand-up, performing at clubs throughout the North and Southeastern United States. His work has been heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

Jay Black started life as an English teacher. After a few years and a few teacher-of-the-year nominations, he decided to take his high-energy day-time act and adapt it to a club setting. He has wowed audiences with his creative take on our absurd existence.

Dan Crohn has been performing stand up comedy in and around Boston for the last five years. A recent semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival, his stories of family and friends have entertained audiences from all over New England. Dan has opened for a number of well-known headliners and has played shows all over the country. His daytime job of teaching 4th graders has provided him with endless amounts of material. He has wanted to be a comedian since the age of eight when he stumbled upon his Father's Henny Youngman records. Dan Crohn is a force to be reckoned with and is quickly becoming one of the funniest comics in Boston, and with good reason: he's hilarious.
